Previously the LOV was given the
opportunity to renovate and lease the O'Neil Ford Building at 3303
Broadway and Funston. Although we are quite grateful to Mr. Glenn
Huddleston and Mr. Harper Huddleston for that opportunity, we now have
the opportunity to actually purchase a property that is move-in ready.
The
LAND OF VIRTUOSITY is excited to announce we have been
offered the opportunity to buy the Wittig building, a 38,000 square
foot labyrinth of Performing Arts Space, located at 2013
Broadway. It is an
excellent setting, just north of the Pearl
Brewery and Fabulous Riverwalk Extension project, in an
area soon to be known as
the Uptown
Arts
District.
The Land Of Virtuosity is thrilled
to be in negotiations with the wonderful Mr. Mark Wittig, the great
grandson of the founder of Wittig Office Furniture. He is well
known in San Antonio for his philanthropy and family values. Mr.
Wittig is supportive of the goals the Land Of Virtuosity wishes to
reach and believes in our potential enough to work out a purchase plan.
Development
is well underway as we acquire the
funds necessary for the down payment to purchase the
building
for all of the families, and school age children soon to pass through
our doors.
